SACO - The Serviced Apartment Company has grown to become one of the leading providers of apartment accommodation for corporate and leisure travellers giving access to over 30,000 apartments in more than 220 key destinations across 35 countries.

Challenges:

  • A property management system that was suitable for the unique and complex nature of the serviced apartment industry
  • Implement a multi-site PMS which had the functionality to accommodate a central Reservation office in addition to agent reservations generated from SACO’s partners
  • The system needed the ability to:
    • Pre-allocate apartments up to 24 hours prior to arrival
    • Display true availability in real-time
    • Maximise occupancy
    • Generate invoices and VAT receipts upon reservation for corporate clients
    • Address the VAT changes which occur for  apartment stays over 28 days
    • Drive online traffic through its own website and increase revenue across all online channels

Since the installation of the Online Booking Manager, SACO has already doubled the number of online bookings. OBM is really helping us increase the volume of bookings via our own website.

Whether customers are turning to the OTAs to benefit from room rate comparisons, or to book a room, we identified Channel & Distribution Manager as the ideal solution as it allows us to control rates and availability from a single real-time source. This proves very effective in securing last minute bookings due to short stays or cancellations.
