Wilmslow Lodge enjoys revenue increase of £400,000
The latest Guestline user to benefit from significant revenue gains after installing Guestline’s solutions is the Wilmslow Lodge, located in the heart of Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Matthew Abbott took over the property 3 years ago and was quick to maximise the potential from the Guestline systems that were in place. During this period, Wilmslow Lodge increased their average room rates by 50% and boosted occupancy levels to 91%. This has resulted in their end of year figures rising from £400,000 to £800,000 in just one year.
The Guestline systems helps us to maximise revenue streams easily and all from one place. It manages every aspect of our online presence and the flex rates feature allows me to distribute inventory at the click of a button. We are delighted that average room rates have risen steadily from £46 to £69.

Abbott also credits the Guestline training sessions that have helped the team to utilise the full functionality of the software to realise efficiencies, drive bookings and deliver a demonstrable return on investment.
Abbott added, “I have accessed many of the training days available to Guestline clients in order to further my knowledge and understanding, and believe these have instrumental in enabling us to deliver improved results. Being given the opportunity to meet and network with other hoteliers from within the industry has also proved invaluable in discussing and learning new ways to generate further revenue.”
The property has installed Guestline’s cloud hosted property management system, Rezlynx, Channel Manager, Online booking manager, Facebook booking manager and PCI manager.
The Wilmslow Lodge is situated adjacent to the traditional Coach & Four pub, an 18th century coaching house, within easy reach of Manchester and its International Airport and major motorways.
