The Merriman Hotel selects Guestline's flexible, cloud-based solutions to manage bookings and operations

The Merriman Hotel in County Galway, Ireland has selected Guestline’s full suite of hospitality software solutions to manage its hotel operations and room bookings.

The 32-bed hotel required a flexible, multi-functional property management and booking system that could easily be scaled up to meet their needs, with an intuitive, user-friendly interface. They opted for Guestline’s next generation, cloud-based Rezlynx PMS, the online booking module, channel manger and EPoS.

It was imperative their new system was cloud-based, that it was easy to install and could be deployed quickly, providing the hotel’s management team with remote access to their systems if required.

‘The hotel wanted a fully configurable, PCI compliant PMS that could be adapted to our needs and Guestline provided the best solution for this. We wanted one fully integrated solution with the ability to manage bookings and rates in real-time.

Guestline’s software is cloud-based which is ideal for us as it offers a more agile, flexible and cost-effective solution and we did not want a traditional server-based system that would prove costly and hard to maintain.

The hotel has also installed Guestline’s EPoS system that is integrated with their PMS so they can post food and beverage charges to rooms without the need for separate till systems.

The Merriman Hotel in Kinvara, Co. Galway, which has the largest thatched roof in Ireland, is an iconic 3* hotel which consists of 32 bedrooms, a restaurant with seating for 100 diners and a bar able to seat 200 thirsty guests.
