Galleon Hotels increase profitability with Guestline's revenue management services

Galleon Hotels, a group of independent hotels operating in and around the M25 & M4 corridor have seen profitability increase since undertaking Revenue Management services from Guestline.

In order to increase the number of direct bookings Galleon Hotels receive, we implemented Guestline’s reduced step online booking manager and Price Assure to ensure the booking process is as quick, easy and seamless as possible. Price Assure allows guests to compare Galleon Hotels direct price with up to 5 online travel agents making it less likely for a guest to leave the website in the hunt for a more competitive price.”

The properties have a culture of capturing quality client data to market relevant content and drive additional direct sales. Using Rezlynx’s automated templates allows them to target guests with specific offers and encourage repeat bookings and upsells.

The hotels have also implemented a robust procedure of handling No Show’s and through the guidance provided by Guestline, have reduced their commission. They have also started to handle pre-authorisations with confidence using the secure payment gateway through Rezlynx, thus reducing the number of open charges by some of the corporate guests in the past. In addition, they have also reduced the number of chargebacks incurred.
