Senior Project Manager

Overview

Guestline are looking for a passionate Senior Project Manager to join the Guestline team. Managing the delivery of high quality projects, which span over a multiple client base, within the Hospitality environment; ensuring that the project objectives and business requirements is achieved. Reporting to the Head of Projects & Installations, the Senior Project Manager will provide day-to-day support for the Guestline Project Management team. 

Responsibilities 

  • Applying and adhering to the project management principles and processes and ensuring that they are effectively applied throughout the lifecycle of the project, through to project closure and operational handover
  • Effective resolution of issues
  • Supporting, guiding, motivating and facilitating the project teams through the project processes
  • Identification and management of risks and opportunities; as well as managing risk around project timelines, budget, scope and quality
  • Adhere to the Guestline change management processes
  • Communication of project progress to management and project stakeholders
  • The position will provide assistance with the troubleshooting of any issues and work towards the best resolutions for existing projects
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of multiple project work-streams
  • Management of large roll out project plans
  • Liaise with internal business units, affiliates and users
  • Document and facilitate projects plans and project meetings both internally and with the customer
  • Assist in managing any development relating requests from a contract, and ensure timelines of delivery are monitored and communicated to the client
  • Create and implement any required support processes and project management documentation into the existing business
  • Identify training needs within the team and liaise with the Head of Projects & Installations to arrange the required training programmes to ensure they can deliver to the Guestline standard. 
  • Develop induction and training programmes for new and existing members of the projects team
  • Support Guestlines overall business strategy and best practice
  • Ensure that quality is achieved in all projects, working to the Guestline Standard and striving for consistency, across the project portfolio
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all levels
  • Identify and report to the Head of Projects & Installations on any issues which could cause financial issues from installation
  • Support the Head of Projects & Installations with team appraisals, where necessary
  • Continual awareness of industry best practices
  • Travel throughout the UK 

Key Skills and Experience

  • Prince 2 or similar project management qualification
  • Proven track record in delivery of PMS/Hospitality projects to both independent and group customers
  • Proven track record of account management during roll out of a project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team leadership
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within a set timescale
  • Good general IT skills
  • The ability and self-confidence to independently manage own time
  • Passion for quality and excellent service 
  • Professional training qualification is desirable
  • A full driving license is essential
