EPoS Training Specialist

Overview

To complement our current installations team, we are seeking an EPOS Trainer and Installation Specialist typically you will work away at our client sites (the role includes a company car) where your key duties will include the installation of our market leading software along with the associated hardware and networking.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

The role is within the Guestline installation team, providing on-site effective installation solutions of our Epos system and any other 3rd party related products.

  • Travel to customer premises both in and outside of normal hours
  • Conduct on site Guestline EPoS Training
  • Conduct on site database configuration changes on the Guestline EPoS Product
  • To work with and complement other trainers within the business
  • Carry out support work at Guestline support when not on customer sites
  • To be responsible and accountable for company stock in your possession
  • To complete and maintain all company paperwork in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in line with the company guidelines.
  • As part of an installations team actively take control of the project delivery components for which you are responsible to see through to completion.
  • Maintain close contact with the Project Manager, keeping them informed of any progress or delays
  • Document any faults, features or site specific items/issues as and when requested and also in line with the company processes
  • To ensure product knowledge is kept up to date
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times
  • Adhere to and follow all procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Attend any relevant training course which are set to improve knowledge on the company’s or associated products

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability and drive to learn and work unsupervised
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure, keeping calm, professional and maintaining positivity even under difficult circumstances
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office Products
  • Knowledge of EPoS systems in hospitality or a similar industry
  • Knowledge of stock systems
