Distribution 2nd Line Support Analyst

Overview

Guestline are looking for a Distribution 2nd Line Support Analyst to work with their growing customer base.

The ideal candidate will have the confidence to work on your own initiative and the ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively within a team environment
 

Responsibilities 

  • Complete the majoirty of all Distribution support calls relating to planned changes
  • To provide software support to a range of clients covering all Distribution products, these currently include:
  • Channel Manager including GDS connections
  • Online Booking Module
  • Mobile Booking Module
  • Facebook Booking Module
  • Reputation Manager
  • Rate Shopper
  • Following training, to have full knowledge of all Distribution front end software including individual channels
  • Keep up to date with the functionality of all of the above products as changes are made
  • Covering any Firstline Support sickness at short notice for all products
  • Be a point of knowledge on Distribution products to Firstline Support
  • Knowledgeable on Corporate set up of the Distribution products
  • Help to ensure the Knowledge Database is kept up to date with functionality changes and known issues

Key Skills and Experience

  • A sound working knowledge of reservation software and Microsoft Office software products
  • Previously held a reservations or front office position within the hotel industry would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of rate management processes
