Business Development Executive - East Anglia

Overview

An exciting new role has opened up within the sales team at Guestline.  We are looking for a determined and hardworking field sales person who will help further increase Guestline’s market share in the beautiful East Anglian region.  The successful candidate will develop partnerships with prospects and clients within the territory and must fundamentally enjoy spending time with hoteliers.  We are ideally looking for someone who has spent time working in a hotel and is therefore familiar with operational software – and the positive impact it can have.

Guestline is a rapidly evolving company, growing both internationally and here in the UK where we were established.  The successful candidate will want to be part of a winning team and have a previous track record in a commercially targeted sales role.

The role requires extensive travel within the territory and is therefore best suited to someone based within or near East Anglia.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline funnel
  • Build strong relationships with the installed client base
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions
  • Work with Marketing to drive business and awareness
  • Disseminate product information to existing customers  
  • Maintain structured account plans for top level/ high revenue accounts

Key Skills and Experience

  • Ability to sell at all levels within the business (E)
  • Proven track record in sales and hotel software industry (E)
  • Ideally knowledge of hotel PMS systems (D)
  • Experience in a solutions orientated sales role (D)
  • Hospitality qualification (D)
  • A sales person that can be self-sufficient i.e. self-starter (E)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to sales targets (E)
  • Ability to work with internal systems and to maintain an accurate forecast online (E)
  • Well-organised and self-directed, strong team player/contributor (E)
