Welcome Break Opts For SaaS PMS Solution

Guestline is delighted to announce that Welcome Break has selected a complete suite of Guestline solutions to manage its hotel operations.

Welcome Break is the UK’s second largest operator of motorway service areas, with the majority having adjacent hotels franchised as Days Inns. To manage their 26 hotels across the UK motorway network, Welcome Break will implement the following solutions from the Guestline portfolio:

Guestline's Rezlynx PMS - a hotel PMS that utilises a single, centrally located data source that can be accessed from anywhere in the world via a standard secure web browser. It boasts a wide range of features and incorporates full PMS functionality including front of house, cross property reservations, back office, sales ledger, business analysis reporting and an extremely powerful sales & marketing module. As a true SaaS (Software as a Service) application, the PMS is not installed locally at the hotels but is hosted on Guestline’s dedicated servers.

Channel & Distribution Manager - streamlines the channel management process by actively connecting Welcome Break to the leading Online Travel Agencies such as LateRooms, Booking.com and Expedia. The Channel Manager will facilitate the management of online rates and availability directly from the PMS. It will also deliver reservations from all online sales channels, including the Welcome Break website, directly into the PMS without the need for manual data entry.

RateShopper - an integrated service which provides online rate data for selected competitor hotels. The selected hotels are periodically shopped and 30 days of rate data is returned, which is then immediately available within the Channel Manager. A simple traffic light system warns of rates lower or higher than those being offered by Welcome Break.

PCI Manager - will ensure that the group fully complies with the latest PCI-DSS payment card security standards. It provides solutions to all the key problem areas of the standard, such as wireless security scans, external vulnerability scans, firewall & virus protection audits and creating policies/procedures. It links Guestline's Cloud-Based PMS to the card acquiring services and provides a secure method of card data storage.
