Spirit Group Installs RezLynx Property Management System At 36 Sites
RezLynx is a 100% internet based property management system (PMS) designed around a single, centrally located data source, hosted at Guestline’s secure data centre which can be accessed from anywhere in the world via a standard web browser. The solution incorporates feature rich PMS functionality, Central Reservation System (CRS) and Head Office Management module. It also has the ability to interface with a wide range of 3rd party systems such as telephone, EPoS, key cards, accounts and interactive TV.
The Spirit Group is one of the UK’s fastest growing bar and restaurant operators with over 800 sites in its portfolio. The core focus of the project was to provide the Spirit Group with a centralised property management solution that would facilitate real-time head office management reporting, provide seamless cross-property bookings and accommodate live online reservations.

Folio Hotels Implements GuestLynx Central Reservation System
Folio Hotels have thirty five 3 and 4 star hotels across the UK. Folio Hotels are traditional and full of character but with the modern facilities expected by todays guests.
GuestLynx is the only fully featured Windows™ based central reservation system written and entirely supported from the UK. Utilising a thin client platform and standard Microsoft SQL database technology, GuestLynx communicates real-time data such as reservations, availability, hotel information, guest profiles and rates to the Folio estate.

Central control lies at the core of GuestLynx, designed around a single central database, GuestLynx enables extensive levels of management control and reporting throughout the estate.

sites in the Marston’s Inns & Taverns Portfolio.
RezLynx™
is a 100% internet based property management system (PMS) designed
around a single, centrally located data source, hosted at Guestline’s
secure data centre which can be accessed from anywhere in the world via
a standard web browser.
The primary focus
of the project was to provide Marston’s with a centralised solution
that would enable them to increase occupancy rates, improve revenue
management, accommodate live online reservations and have the ability
to view live performance statistics across the whole of the estate
including a consolidated sales ledger. In addition,
Marston’s were keen to increase the visibility of their room inventory
on on-line portals.

Hoby Hotels Group

Hoby Hotels, a group of 3* hotels with character have installed RezLynx with fully integrated EPoS system to centrally manage their properties in Warwickshire and Lincolnshire. They have also incorporated RezLynx Web online booking module, on their website to administer their online booking capability.
Hoby's portfolio of hotels are all historic buildings and are designed as an alternative to the bland, characterless budget hotels. Hoby specialises in both the leisure and business markets and aims to provide character and history without breaking the customers bank account.

Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course

The Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course is owned by the Duke of Roxburghe, the hotel nestles privately amongst woodlands on the banks of the River Teviot. Many of the luxury 22 bedrooms have all been individually designed by the Duchess herself, many of which have four poster beds and log fires.
The
rooms comprise of a mixture of double, twin and single beds, including
four poster rooms and suites, and like the spacious reception rooms
they are furnished with care and elegance.
The Roxburghe has installed Guestline's Windows based Property Management System with interfaces to a bi-directional call logger and Baron LMRS solution.

Hoar Cross Hall

The only spa resort in a stately home in England, Hoar Cross Hall is situated in over 100 acres of glorious Staffordshire countryside. The modern facilities of the health spa have been carefully blended into their surroundings. This Listed building has all the facilities of a four star hotel, the interiors are splendid, with their fine antiques and paintings. A Jacobean staircase leads to 96 individually appointed ensuite bedrooms including several Penthouse suites and Royal suite with private sauna.

Woolacombe Goes Live With Guestline EPoS
Since its launch, Guestline EPos has been installed in over 200 properties nationwide and Woolacombe Bay Hotel was one of the early adopters of the system.

Superbly positioned between National Trust headlands and with beautiful gardens running onto three miles of uninterrupted golden sand, Woolacombe Bay Hotel combines the timeless elegance of days gone by with all the luxuries that modern day living has to offer.
In addition to EPoS, the hotel also implemented Guestline PMS, providing a seamlessly integrated solution to replace the proven manual processes which have served the hotel so well for many years.
"We were running a very effective manual system, but recognised the potential efficiency savings and improved management information that a computerised system would provide", stated Kate Ewing, General Manager of the hotel. "We went through a detailed evaluation process with Guestline, involving all key members of our staff to ensure complete buy-in to the concept. The system has bedded in well and we are very pleased with the level of service provided to date".

The Regent Hotel goes Windows® based with Guestline PMS
Guestline has recently installed its Windows® based Property Management System (PMS) at the Regent Hotel in Doncaster.
The 52 bedroom Regent Hotel is a charming Victorian building overlooking a secluded Regency park, within easy reach of Doncaster's vibrant town centre and easily accessible from the major roads and motorways.
Recognising the need to replace the hotel's ageing DOS-based system, Proprietor Mike Longworth appointed industry consultants Systems Metier to research the leading Windows® based options in the marketplace.
"Guestline's presentation was one of the main reasons for choosing Guestline from a final list of 3 possible suppliers. Every question was answered with an instant demonstration. All our staff were impressed with the ease of use and clear instructions. Two of my staff who have worked in larger hotels thought Guestline was far superior to much more expensive systems they had previously used", stated Mike.
After an extensive and detailed evaluation by Systems Metier and the Regent's team, Guestline was selected as the preferred PMS and a contract awarded to implement a 7-user network with interfaces to PABX and Sage Line 50, together with a fully integrated web bookings engine.
Mike concludes "Working with Guestline compared to our old system is like a walk in the park. It does everything and more. The training week was well organized, the back up and support is superb. Installing Guestline was a little like passing your driving test and then learning to drive.
